OSME
OSME (Osservatorio Sociale Mitteleuropeo) is a social press agency whose goal is to monitor the labour market and social affairs in Hungary, Slovakia and The Czech Republic; three countries that are in the group of states that became members of the European Union on May 1, 2004. The aim of the agency is to supply twice-weekly information about topics related to the labour markets, education and social problems of topical interest in the countries that are the centre of our attention. You will find more information in detail about the activity of the press social agency and its projects as the website is updated.
Services
As we mentioned in the main page of the website, Eurolettera is a cultural agency whose activities give it the possibility to contribute to the long history between Italy and Hungary. Let’s catalogue in detail the services that the agency offers to its potential interlocutors:
Translation from Hungarian to Italian and vice versa, by native speaking Italian and Hungarian translators respectively, of literary texts, catalogues for museums, scripts and prompt-books, texts for publicity and tourism.
- Translation from English, French and Spanish to Italian by native speaking Italian translators.
- Correction of texts which have already been translated in Italian but they need to be perfected by native speaking Italian collaborators.
- Articles in Italian for radio, tv and magazines about topics related to the relations between Italy and Hungary.
- Press agency.
- Drawing up of books that focus on the relations between Italy and Hungary.
Who we are
Eurolettera is a cultural agency which was established in Budapest on May 2001. Eurolettera is mainly focused on translation, didactics and journalism, it contributes to develop the long time relations between Italy and Hungary. We think that culture is the main tool for starting and cultivating relations among different countries and communities. We believe that it is language that gives us the possibility to communicate and collaborate with persons of different origins for the implementation of various projects.
This is the philosophy of Eurolettera that, during its twenty-year activity, has had the opportunity to collaborate with other Italian and Hungarian agencies and institutions. The other pages of this website offer more precise information about Eurolettera and its competences and about what it has done since its founding. We would like to add that the information we have talked about can be updated on the basis of the experiences and the projects implemented by the agency.
